Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable fast diaphragm control with superior responsiveness by controlling a diaphram based on the calculation result of an arithmetic means at every acquisition of signals with different colors by the revolution of a filter disk.
CONSTITUTION: Light from an object passes a rotary disk 2 consisting of the diaphragm 1 and three primary color filters of R, G, and B rotating synchronizing with a vertical synchronizing signal, and primary color images of R, G, and B are made incident on an image pickup element 3 in time division, then, an image pickup signal can be obtained. The image pickup signal is inputted to a luminance signal generation circuit 8 via a signal generation circuit 4, and also, it is inputted to signal difference detection circuits 6, 6a, and 6b via sample-and-hold circuits 5, 5a, and 5b which store the signals R, G, and B. The circuit 8 calculates brightness and the circuits 6-6b calculate the signal difference of the image pickup signals this time and last time. The signal difference selected via a signal difference selection circuit 7 and a brightness signal from the circuit 8 are added by an adder circuit 9. Difference between an addition result and a reference voltage 10 is calculated by a differential signal circuit 11, and a differential signal is inputted to a motor 13 via an amplifier 12, then, the diaphragm 1 is driven.
