Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption by solving the frequent occurrence of hunting in the vicinity of diaphragm change by monitor-displaying a subject image picked up by an imaging device and controlling a shutter and a diaphragm by an Ev chart having hysterisis for diaphragm changeover while monitor-displaying.
SOLUTION: The imaging device (CCD) 1 image-forming the subject image is connected with a camera control part (CDS) 2 and an analog digital converter (A/D) 3 connected to the CDS 2 digitizes subject image data from the CCD1, and a picture processing circuit (IPPV) 4 image-processes digitized data. Then, a CPU 9 controls a plunger driver 8 by setting shutter speed at the IPPV 4, setting a monitor signal and judging whether or change an F value by a photometric value or not. The subject image from the CCD 1 is displayed on a monitor 10, and the shutter and the diaphragm are controlled by the Ev chart having the hysterisis while monitor-displaying.
