To provide an optoelectronic component that has high durability and high flexibility and is cost-effective in a production process.SOLUTION: An optoelectronic component (1) has a cathode (25), an anode (27), and a layer system between the cathode (25) and the anode (27). The layer system includes at least one electron injection layer (29) or electron extraction layer adjacent to the cathode; at least one electron transport layer (33); at least one optically active layer; at least one hole transport layer (35); and at least one hole injection layer (31) or hole extraction layer adjacent to the anode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
