Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus capable of expanding a dynamic range by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A circuit constitution and an operation method of an imaging apparatus can determine an electron saturation state in a charge detection part formed in a pixel and change an operation mode in accordance with a determination result. First, first imaging data are acquired, and if the charge detection part is not saturated, the first imaging data are read out as they are. When the charge detection part is saturated, saturation of the charge detection part is canceled and second image data are acquired and read out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
