Abstract:
To provide techniques for improving image quality of a blurred image or an underexposed image due to, for example, camera shake, photographing in dim lighting conditions or photographing of a high action scene.
The techniques can be executed in a digital camera, a digital video camera or a digital camera capable of capturing video. In one embodiment described herein, the digital camera includes an image sensor, a storage device and a processing device. The image sensor acquires two images from a same scene, and these images are stored in the storage device. The processing device enhances the image quality of the acquired images by luminance correction.
