Abstract:
PURPOSE:To extract a dot clock from a digital color data by selectively outputting one of the three kinds of digital color data corresponding to inputted three primary colors in response to each horizontal scanning. CONSTITUTION:One of the digital color data R, G, and B supplied to a selector 4 via input terminals 1-3, is selectively outputted at each horizontal scanning in accordance with the counting of a counter 7 that counts horizontal synchronizing signals, and supplied to a delay circuit 8 as a selecting signal Ss. and also to the input terminal iD of a flip-flop 5. Then, an output signal Sd from the circuit 8 and that Sff from the output terminal 1Q of the flip-flop 5 are supplied to a phase comparator 9, and their phases are compared. A phase-shift signal is supplied to a voltage controlled oscillator 12. When the phases coincide with each other, a dot clock extracted from the digital color data supplied to the terminals 1-3 is outputted from an output terminal 13.
