Abstract:
PURPOSE: To give selection possible phases to an output sample by storing an input digital sample, obtaining the sample of an output stream from the stored input digital sample and normally obtaining the output sample for always including in the output stream. CONSTITUTION: The stream of one-bit digital input sample x is received in an input line 12 by input sample speed fs , shift is made to a serial shift register 16 by an input clock pulse in a circuit 18, and moreover, the three of the samples in the register 16 are given to the three address input lines 22, 24 and 26 of a mapping element 28. The element 28 executes the mapping of respective combinations possible with the three address bits with respect to a corresponding output value. The continuous output values of the element 28 are transmitted to integrator 36 and 38, and the output of the integrator 38 is sent to a parallel pair of integrating and dumping circuits 48 and 50. The outputs of the circuits 48 and 50 are alternately transmitted with 2:1 multiplexer 62 (controlled by an odd/even number signal in the circuit 64, which appears with speed fs /2Nk from a clock frequency divider 60).
