Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain correct digital information by changing a sampling period in accordance with a travel speed when a magnetic head is moved in a magnetic disk radius direction. CONSTITUTION:A period generating means 7 generates a sampling signal having a period approximately in inverse proportion in accordance with the size of the travel speed of a disk 12 radius direction of a head 1. The means 7 outputs the sampling period to a sawtooth generating circuit 5 by stages and generates the slicing signal of the same period as the sampling signal. A slicing voltage control means 11 adjusts the gain of the circuit 5 corresponding to the period of a sampling signal outputted from the means 7 and controls the voltage of a slicing signal outputted from the circuit 5. By the constitution, when the head 1 is moved in the radius direction of the disk 12, a sampling period is made smaller in accordance with the travel speed. Thus, the correct digital information can be obtained.
