Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate contact-sliding between a head and a disk media and to obtain a disk device with high reliability by loading with negative pressure to be generated when a negative pressure using type floating head is close to disk media. CONSTITUTION:When a projected part 6 for exciting a supporting mechanism passes directly under a load arm 3 of a supporting mechanism, the speed of the air flow between the projected part 6 and the arm 3 is increased, the pressure is reduced and the suction force to a magnetic disk memory media 5 side occurs at the arm 3. When the supporting mechanism is used as floating mechanism for a negative pressure using type floating head 1, by a characteristic frequency of about 100Hz minimum, a natural oscillation comes to be a primary oscillation in which the head 1 is close to a memory media surface with the joining point of arms 3 and 4 as a fixed point. When the head 1 is close to the memory media surface by the resonance, the negative pressure is generated on the lubricating surface of the head 1, is attracted instantaneously to a media surface side, and while the generating negative pressure and a positive pressure including the spring restoring force of the arm 3 are balanced, loading is executed stably.
