PURPOSE: To attain multi-purpose utilization of voice service by dividing at least one channel of a digital signal of plural channels into plural data lengths and selecting them at a different time interval to transmit the selected result.
CONSTITUTION: When, e.g., 32 bits are used for R, L right/left stereo signals for 16-bit each, left and right channel analog signals L, R are fed respectively to terminals 1, 2. The signals L, R are inputted respectively to A/D converters 3, 4 where the analog signal is converted into a 16-bit digital signal by using a sampling frequency 44.1kHz. The output of the cinverters 3, 4 is fed to a parallel/ serial P/S converter 5, where the signal is converted into a serial signal. The serial signal is outputted from a terminal 6 at a different time interval and the transmission of stereo music with high quality is attained.
