To provide a direct conversion receiver in which power consumption is saved approximately by half by using common-mode and opposite-phase signal processing systems from a mixer to an A/D conversion part in the time division manner of sharing one system.
A mixer 5 of an orthogonal converting part is made common for both common-mode and opposite-phase components, and the mixer is impressed with a common-mode local oscillation signal and an opposite-phase local oscillation signal in the time division manner. Two low-pass filters (LPF) 61 and 62 are parallel provided, one variable gain amplifier (VGA) 10 and one A/D converter 11 are respectively provided, outputs from the two LPFs 61 and 62 are inputted to the VGA 10 while being switched in the time division manner, and a common-mode output path 131 and an opposite-phase output path 132 of the A/D converter are switched in the time division manner.
