Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for isolating an AAV virus from a cell DNA of an NHP tissue, and to provide a kit useful for carrying out the method.
SOLUTION: The cell DNA of a nonhuman primate (NHP) is transfected to 293 cells, and the virus is rescued. The rescued virus is amplified by serial passagees in the presence of an adenovirus helper function.
