The disaster evacuation garment 1 is formed through shaping a cloth material into a front-fit summer kimono to cover at least the body part of the evacuee with a body 10, and is structured as follows: a prescribed area forming the back side of the body 10 is doubly folded; the peripheral parts except a part on the folded line side of the cloth material are engaged with each other by hook-and-loop fasteners 25, 26 as fastening means to be formed into a bag shape so as to form the bag body 2 having a housing space in its inner part; the remaining parts of the body 10 are housed in the housing space of the bag body 2 in a folded state to be in a stored condition.
