Abstract:
To provide a disk brake improved in efficiency with only a minimum constituting space, which enables contraction of a parking brake drive unit, so that the drive unit can be disposed in various different positions.
A parking brake device 6 comprises a driving unit 10 and a rack transmission device 7 including a rack 8 and a gear 9. The rack 8 is coupled with a piston 4 so that the piston 4 is moved in its axial direction (X-X).
