To provide a disk brake which has an electric heating circuit installed therein to have a structure to allow the electric heating circuit to generate an induction current utilizing an electromagnetic induction phenomenon, thereby enabling supply of electric power to the electric heating circuit without connecting a power source line to the disk and attaining the drying of a brake even while a vehicle is running at the time of rainy weather.
The disk brake comprises a disc-like disk which rotates together with a tire; pads provided on both the ends of the disk while adhering to the disk to generate friction force; a scissors-like caliper which supports the pads; an electric heating circuit which is provided in the disk and generates heat, if a current flows therethrough, to dry the disk; and an electromagnetic induction means which causes the electric heating circuit to generate the current utilizing an electromagnetic induction phenomenon due to the formation of a magnetic field.
