Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of dust at the time when the fixing and the releasing of a disk medium are repeated by holding the disk medium by a fixing member at its peripheral part to the direction of the thickness of the medium when it is not used. CONSTITUTION:The disk fixing members 2 are given force to close their end parts by a tension spring 8, and when the disk medium is not used, since a releasing piece 2 is positioned at a fixing position 9, fixing parts 4 hold the disk medium 5. Next, when a disk cartridge is inserted into a disk driving device, since a releasing lever 6 pushes the releasing piece 2 in a case up to a releasing position 7, the fixing part 4 of a disk fixing means 1 are opened against the force of the tension spring 8 so as to release the medium. Namely, at the time of shift from a used state to an unused state, since the disk medium 5 is pinched by the scissor-shaped disk fixing members 2 from the upper and the lower sides at its peripheral part, sliding between the end surface of the disk and the fixing members 2 and between the disk and the upper and the lower inner surfaces of the case is eliminated. Thus, the generation of the dust is prevented.
