Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a weld mark, etc., and the exposure of a gate trace to a surface by limiting the number of the gate to single, and forming the gate at a molding part for molding the shell surface part near to the central part of the shell. CONSTITUTION:The single gate 17 is formed at the molding part for molding the shell surface part which is the shell surface part near to the central part of the shell and in addition, is hidden by the parts of a disk cartridge 1. Then, molten resin flows in to the inside of a cavity from the single gate 17, and since the gate 17 is formed at the molding part for molding the shell surface part near to the central pat of the shell, the injected resin spreads smoothly over the whole area of the cavity. Besides, since the gate 17 is single, the weld mark is difficult to be generated in the molded shell. Thus, the gate trace can be formed at a spot not to impair appearance as a shell product.
