Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording method capable of reducing the influence of the disk tilt affecting to a disk at the continuous recording over the wide area of the disk.
SOLUTION: This method includes such steps that a plurality of areas having different radial positions on the disk are specified and the tilt amounts of each area with respect to an optical axis of the light beams are detected on the basis of a focus control signal for just focusing the light beams to a recording surface of the disk (ST1), tilt correcting values to each area are calculated in accordance with the tilt amount of each area (ST2), the tilt of the optical axis to the specified area is corrected on the basis of the tilt correcting value corresponding to the specified area (ST3), and the data are recorded to the specified area in the state that the tilt of the optical axis to the specified area is corrected (ST4).
