Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dispersion compositions which have excellent dispersion stability and are hard to settle even when stored for a long period of time.
SOLUTION: In a dispersion composition obtained by dispersing particulate matter in an organic solvent, a polymeric compound having an average particle diameter in the range of 0.01 μm-1 μm which is self-dispersed in the organic solvent is allowed to adsorb onto at least part of the outer surface of the particulate matter. The adsorption of the self-dispersed polymeric compound is 20-10,000 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. particulate matter.
