Title:
DISPERSION INCLUDING FLUOROPOLYMER PARTICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010159430
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To achieve an increase in polymerization rate, an increase in comonomer incorporation, the comonomer having relatively low reactivity, grain size reduction of a spherical dispersion particle, generation of dispersion particles of rod shape, and a reduction of agglomeration at reduced concentration of a fluorosurfactant.

The dispersion includes substantially spherical fluoropolymer particles in an aqueous medium containing a fluorosurfactant. The dispersion contains at least 20 wt.% of a solid component based on the total weight of the dispersion. The particle has an average diameter of 150 nanometers or less. The concentration of the fluorosurfactant is less than the critical micelle concentration of the fluorosurfactant based on the weight of water in the dispersion.
