To solve the problem, there may be a discrepancy in the timing between audio directly audible to a photographer or an audio signal input to and recorded by audio input means provided by an imaging apparatus and a video signal acquired by the imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A display control device has means for acquiring delay time information from a time when a display image to be displayed on display means is acquired from an image signal output from an imaging element to a time when the display image is displayed on display means, and display control means for controlling the display of the display image on the display means at a timing based on the delay time information.
