PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately apply embroidery with a large pattern unable to be embroidered in size at one time by displaying the distances between the patterns, and repeatedly applying embroidery multiple times.
SOLUTION: When a pattern is selected, the display data of the pattern are extracted from a pattern data memory device 3 and temporarily stored in a temporary memory device 9. This process is repeated until all patterns are selected. When multiple patterns are selected and the pattern positions are set or corrected, the display data are corrected accordingly. The distances between the reference points of the patterns are calculated by a reference point interval calculating device 4, distance display data are generated, and the display data of individual patterns are synthesized by a synthesizing/correcting device 6 and displayed on a display device 11. When rotation is required, the angle is calculated, and the angle display data are generated. When a print instruction button 18 is operated, the display content is printed and outputted in the actual size by a printing device 20.
