Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine operating panel structure which decreases the number of members of a throttle operating device, an operating panel, and their accessories, reduces manday for attachment, and improves an exterior appearance of beauty.
SOLUTION: This gradient cylinder type single cylinder engine 1 includes a design cover 11 made of resin between the upside of a fan shroud 3 which is placed in the front of the engine 1 and the lower part of a fuel tank which is placed at the upper part of the engine such that the shroud covers the recessed and projecting parts in the front of the engine 1, a throttle adjusting lever 12 which is rotationable around a vertical shaft arranged inside of the design cover 11, is attached so as to be stopped at any angle position, and projects out of a hole of the design cover 11 at its operating tab, and a stopping switch which is placed insulatedly inside of the design cover 11, is grounded by contacting an earth terminal with the throttle adjusting lever 12, and stops the engine 1.
