Abstract:
To provide a display device for vehicle capable of receiving a satisfactory display light from a display even in the cloudy daytime.
The display for a vehicle (headup display) 1 for reflecting the specified display light issued from the display 2 by a reflective member 3 and displaying specified information for the operator C of a vehicle A comprises the display 2 having a dot matrix type liquid crystal display panel 9, an illumination means 5 disposed at the rear of the liquid crystal display panel 9 to illuminate the display light, and a semi-transparent reflective plate (semi-transparent reflective member) disposed between the liquid crystal display panel 9 and the illumination means 5.
