Abstract:
To improve the designing property of a display device using a liquid crystal display, while shielding wiring lines used for transmitting image data.SOLUTION: A display device includes: a liquid crystal display 105 with a touch panel function, supported by a support member 106 mounted on a back face of an appearance cover 104; and a flexible protective sheet 107 including a protrusion 141 protruding outward from one end side of the liquid crystal display. A first side portion 112 to which a wiring line to transmit image data to the liquid crystal display is connected, and a second side portion 114 disposed opposite to the first side portion over a display region and having a narrower width than that of the first side are disposed on an upper face of the liquid crystal display. The protective sheet includes a first shielding portion 142 covering at least the first side portion, and a second shielding portion 143 including a protrusion and covering at least the second side portion, in which a width W4 of the second shielding portion is equal to a width W3 of the first shielding portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
