The display panel control circuit CNT includes: a gate driver YD to sequentially drive a plurality of gate lines Y to conduct a plurality of switching elements W by each row: a source driver XD to output a pixel voltage to a plurality of source lines X while the switching elements W in the row are driven to conduct by the corresponding gate lines Y; and a compensation voltage generating circuit 6 to generate a compensation voltage to be applied on one end of an auxiliary capacitance Cs in one row so as to compensate changes in the pixel voltage induced when the switching elements W in each row apply the pixel voltage on the other end of pixels PX and the auxiliary capacitance Cs in one row and then return to a non-conduction state. In particular, the compensation voltage generating circuit 6 is constituted to regulate changes in the compensation voltage against environmental changes of a display panel DP.
