Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display for vehicle, which prevents an inconvenience caused by collection of external light on a display source.
SOLUTION: In the display for vehicle, which is provided with a reflection member 4 and a display source 5 disposed in an instrument panel 1 of a vehicle, and in which a virtual image S of the image, displayed on the display source 5, reflected by the reflection member 4 and projected on a projection area E of a windshield 3 of the vehicle via an opening part 11 of the instrument panel 1 and an image on a foreground of the vehicle visualized through the windshield 3 from an eyepoint I of the vehicle are superposed and visually recognized, the display is characterized by being provided with a light shielding means 6 disposed on a light path between the display source 5 and the opening part 11 and being transformable to pass only display light corresponding to an object to be displayed to the opening part 11 side in conformity with the object to be displayed by the display source 5 on the projection area E.
