Abstract:

To provide a disposing method and a disposing device to facilitate combustion disposal of composite waste 4, containing a metal and combustible organic material, such as a waste electric cable.

A flame 5 having combustion supporting ability is formed by oxygen and propane gas jetted through a plurality of nozzles 11 and 12 situated at the tip of a burner 1. Composite waste 4 produced by crushing waste electric cable is injected through a central waste blowing nozzle 13, surrounded by the nozzles 11 and 12, by carrier gas. This constitution exerts sufficient combustion.thermal decomposition on the composite waste 4 surrounded by the combustion assisting flame 5. Further, by effecting the combustion in a reflection furnace 6 and the like, a metal is easily recovered, and heat to burn an organic material, such as an electric cable covering material and the like, is effectively utilized for melting of a metal.
