To provide a distribution system which operates a load safely without cutting off an electric path by a breaker for preventing an overload.
A direct-current breaker 114 includes a power measuring portion 114a to measure an output power brought from a secondary side, an information generating portion 114b to generate excessive power information based on a difference between the measured output power and the maximum allowable value of power that can be output, and a communication portion 114c to transmit the generated excessive power information to each direct-current device 102. Each direct-current device 102 is provided with a communication portion 102b which receives the excessive power information, and a power saving controller 102c which estimates the power necessary for an operation by an operation instruction and compares the estimated power with the excessive power based on the excessive power information when the operation instruction is received, permits the operation by the operation instruction if the difference of the estimated power to the excessive power is below a prescribed value, or does not permit the operation by the operation instruction if the difference of the estimated power to the excessive power is the prescribed value or more.
