Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a docking-available computer system that takes a docking state or an undocking state.
CONSTITUTION: This docking-available computer system 10 can make a hot docking or warm docking. The hot docking is referred to as a docking capability when a portable computer 20 or a docking station 22 is in operation with a full power and the warm docking is referred to as a docking capability when the portable computer 20 or the docking station 22 is in operation with a low power. The docking-available computer system 10 uses a docking agent 32 inactivating buses 24, 46 of the portable computer 20 and the docking station 22 in response to a notice signal.
