To provide a document binding apparatus capable of quickly binding documents by performing alignment while holding the documents to be bundled.
The document binding apparatus comprises: a binder 10 comprising a fastener member having a rivet at one end of a wire 2 and a slip-out prevention member 5 attached to the fastener member; and a document binding auxiliary implement 20 in which a locking part 22 for the wire is provided on the surface of a base 21 and a storage space 23 for storing the rivet is provided below the locking part. Binding holes of the documents are inserted into the wire supported by the document binding auxiliary implement, so that the documents can be held in such a state that the documents are aligned, and when the documents are collected, the documents can be quickly bundled by attaching the slip-out prevention member to the wire.
