PURPOSE: To ensure a stable form for the window even in case the calibration may be given at the area near the window by writing the blank information into the memory device instead of the character information in case the line/digit counter is positioned within the window.
CONSTITUTION: The character information supplied from keyboard 1 is stored in sequence into memory device 2, and at the same time the window position supplied from keyboard 1 is registered in window position table 7. Detector 6 gives a comparison between line/digit counter 5 which generates each position information at the print region in one page and table 7, and sets up 1 at output terminal 8 in case the value of counter 5 is within the window position. As a result, the operation of reading circuit 3 is inhibited to stop the output of the character information. Meanwhile space generator 9 is driven to send out the blank information. The charater information or the blank information sent in is written into memory device 11 to be then printed by printer 12.
