PURPOSE: To secure the safe doffing work by covering the surface of a taking-up roller by shifting a guide plate arranged between the supporting shaft of a cradle arm and a taking-up roller in the horizontal direction and introducing the package in full state to a storage plate.

CONSTITUTION: A tube holder 6 is installed at the top edge of the arm of a cradle 3 installed in turnable ways onto a supporting shaft 4. A guide plate 9 for guiding a package in full state to a storage place is installed onto the turnable links 11 and 11'. When the cradle 3 is lifted up in order to carry out doffing of the package in full state, a cam lever 7 presses a roller 11a, and the link 11 turns counterclockwise around a pin 13, and the guide plate 9 shifts in the horizontal direction, and reaches the position for covering the surface of a taking-up roller 1, and the right edge of the guide plate 9 is set close to the position for the engagement with one edge of a storage plate 19, and loaded onto the upper surface of a bracket 20. Then, the cradle 3 is opened to permit the natural drop of the package in full state, and then received by the guide plate 9 to introduce the package to the storage plate 19.
