Abstract:
To provide a door handle seat capable of facilitating removal of a cover so that the cover can be removed from a seat plate only by bare hand work while fixing the cover to the seat plate with sufficient strength.SOLUTION: A door handle seat includes a substantially circular seat plate 10, a cover 20, an engagement protrusion 30, and an engagement recess 40. The cover 20 has a peripheral plate section 21 and a substantially circular top plate 22 and covers the seat plate 10. The engagement protrusion 30 is formed on an inner circumferential surface portion 21a of the peripheral plate section 21 and engages with the engagement recess 40 of the seat plate 10 to secure the cover 20 to the seat plate 10. A first edge 41 of the engagement recess 40 is located in an outer peripheral surface portion 12 in a direction X2 opposite a door direction X1 toward the door 3. A pair of second edges 42 are opposite each other in a circumferential direction X3 of the seat plate 10. The engagement recess 40 is configured such that a height of the first edge 41 with respect to the outer circumferential surface portion 12 is higher than the height of the pair of second edges 42.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
