To provide a door lock which can reduce an abutting noise when a stopper provided on the side of a latch bolt abuts on an abutting portion, in the return of the latch bolt.
This door lock includes the latch bolt 6 which can freely protrude from/recede into a lock case 3 attached to a door 2 and which is protruded by an urging force of the latch spring 21. In the closing of the door 2, the latch bolt 6 recedes against the urging force of the latch spring 21 by abutting on a strike 5 provided on the side of a door frame 4, and returns by the urging force of the latch spring 21 when the door 2 is set in a closing position. The stopper 22 provided on the side of the latch bolt 6 abuts on the abutting portion 15a for regulating the movement of the latch bolt 6 in the direction A of protrusion, so that the latch bolt 6 can be held in a protruding position. The door lock is equipped with a deceleration member 36 for reducing a return speed of the latch bolt 6 in the return of the latch bolt 6.
