The double-sided mold release film for a tape paste is characterized in that a mold release layer consisting essentially of silicone resin is prepared on both sides of a synthetic resin film, that the degree of molecular orientation (MOR value) is ≤3.0 as measured by a microwave method molecular orientation meter of the synthetic resin film, and that a peeling force RA of one side of the release layer at a peeling speed of 30 m/min and a peeling force RB of the other side satisfy 2≤RA/RB≤6.
