Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a speech service even when a program is not normally down-loaded in a public telephone set for offering a speech service according to the execution of a program.
SOLUTION: Second memories 18c1-18c8 are arranged so that each of them has the same address and different banks, and the plural second memories are divided into two groups according to the bank numbers. A first memory 18b and a third memory 18a whose address is different from that of the second memory are respectively provided with a table in which the program number and the bank number of the second memory are stored as a pair, and when the number and a writing address transmitted from a center are received before the down-load of a program, the bank number of the second memory is selected according to the value of the table, and the down-load program is stored in the second memory of the group different from the group with the bank number according to the writing address.
