Abstract:

To provide a drainage and cleaning structure for an apparatus processing cereal and malted rice as a raw material mainly in enzyme industry and brewing industry in which a conveyor having air permeability is used.

In this apparatus equipped with a conveyor 2a or 2b each having air permeability and a single or a plurality of semiclosed chamber(s) A under the conveyor 2a or 2b on which cereal is piled up, drainage piping 7a or 7b installed in the lower part of each chamber A is coupled with a main drainage piping 8a or 8b, and the main drainage piping is made to extend upward and then is made to go downward to conduct drainage and cleaning.
