Abstract:

To provide a drink intended for addressing such problems that a large number of drinks which are added with a mineral such as magnesium and calcium, aiming at effective hydration in doing sports are on the market, but minerals originally have bitter, astringent and harsh tastes, and it is necessary to reduce such uncomfortable tastes in considering palatability of consumers.

This drink which includes water as a solvent and contains 0.05-10 mg of a magnesium ion per 100 ml of the solvent is added with 1 g to 50 mg of naringin. A method for reducing a bitter taste includes adding 1 g to 50 mg of naringin to a drink which has water as a solvent and contains 0.05 mg-10 mg of a magnesium ion per 100 ml of the solvent.
