The drive control system of the thermal head 70 has a plurality of heat generators 72 in a row, causes the heat generators 72 to heat according to the image signals, and punches a stencil master to form a punching pattern according to the image signals, and includes: a formation result confirmation part 321 which obtains a punching pattern actually formed on the thermal head 70 as an actual punching pattern, calculates a punching pattern being theoretical based on the image signals as a theoretical punching pattern, and compares the actual punching pattern with the theoretical punching pattern; and a correction control part 311 which corrects punching timing based on a comparison result by the formation result confirmation part 321.
