PURPOSE: To eliminate inflammable fuel, by employing a member exhibiting superconducting state under a specific environment and realizing rotation through repelling force caused by Meissner effect.
CONSTITUTION: A ring body 2 is fitted idly over a shaft 1 to form a rotatable system A. Members 3 exhibiting superconducting state under a lower tempera ture environment than a specific transposition temperature are arranged at eight positions on the outer circumferential section 2a of the ring body 2 with same interval, and a static system B is formed with a supporting member 4 which is concentric with the shaft 1 and having larger diameter than that of the ring body 2. A permanent magnet flux generating means 5 is provided to the supporting member 4 while an environment modifying means 6 for blow ing low temperature gas to the member 3 is provided thus constituting a driver. The driver is rotated through repelling force based on Meissner effect produced by cooling the member 3 with such timing as the member 3 approaches to a position where the magnetic field of the permanent magnet 5 is highest and setting the member 3 into superconducting state.
