To provide driving for a low-cost memory display produced by using a coated polymer dispersed cholesteric liquid crystal on a flexible substrate and to provide a simple and low-cost method for driving the coated polymer dispersed cholesteric substance on the flexible substrate.
In the device for driving the cholesteric liquid crystal display, the display contains the cholesteric liquid crystal having the first planar reflection state and the second transparent focal conic state respectively reacting to different applied electric fields, an addressing structure determining a pixel selected by a column and a row in the case the columns and the rows mutually overlap or having rows and columns of conductors aligned so as to visibly or invisibly segmentize the pixels and a device adapted to an exchange between the first and the second fixing voltages.
