Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the problem of generating a noise following the switching operation of a booster circuit, in the driving circuit of an air bag.
SOLUTION: In the driving circuit of an air bag in which a transistor 13 for ignition is ignited when a collision detecting signal is output from a collision detector 7 to detect the collision condition of a vehicle, and a current for ignition is to be fed to a squib 11 depending on a voltage boosted by booster circuits 4 and 5, the boosting operation of the booster circuits 4 and 5 is not carried out when the collision detecting signal from the collision detector 7 is not output, and the boosting operation of the booster circuits 4 and 5 is started when the collision detecting signal is output from the collision detector 7.
