Title:
DROPPER TYPE BATTERY VOLTAGE COMPENSATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3957204
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dropper type voltage compensation device of a simple structure.
SOLUTION: The device comprises a comparator which, with a semiconductor switch connected in series to a load, divides a supplied voltage to the load using a resistor and compares the divided voltage to a first reference voltage, and a differential amplifier which generates an error voltage from a second reference voltage. If the divided voltage is higher than the first reference voltage, the semiconductor switch can be controlled with the error voltage of the output of the differential amplifier, and if it is lower than the first reference voltage, the semiconductor switch for preventing overdischarge is made into a shielded state.
