To provide a drum-type washing and drying machine, which securely drain dehumidified water generated in a heat pump device without using a drainage pump.
A drum-type washing and drying machine comprises: a heat pump device 7 provided in an upper inner side of a housing 1 and internally provided in a heat pump device outer shell 8; a circulation air path communicated with an outer tank 2 and the heat pump device 7, for circulating air; air blowing means 20 provided in a downstream side of the heat pump device 7; a dehumidified water drain port 13 provided in an inner bottom face rear part of the heat pump device outer shell 8, for discharging dehumidified water generated in the heat pump device 7; a dehumidified water drain passage connection port 14 provided in a bottom face of the outer tank 2; and a dehumidified water discharge passage 15 for connecting the dehumidified water drain port 13 and the dehumidified water drain passage connection port 14, in which the dehumidified water discharge passage 15 includes, in the middle thereof, check means 16 for passing a flow from the dehumidified water drain port 13 and stopping a flow toward the dehumidified water drain port 13. Accordingly, the drum-type washing and drying machine can drain the dehumidified water without using a drainage pump and prevent lint from entering the heat pump device 7, thereby previously preventing insufficient drying and breakdown.
