To improve usability by making a distance feeling of a display video of a surgical camera easy to be recognized.
This surgical camera includes: a pair of right and left imaging parts 12a, 12b having binocular parallax to a photographic object; and a display control part 14 composing video signals from the right and left imaging parts 12a, 12b and displaying a three-dimensional video on a display part 13. The surgical camera also includes: a three-dimensional video distance calculation part 16 calculating a distance of the three-dimensional video from the video signals from the imaging parts 12a, 12b; and a three-dimensional video distance notification part 17 notifying calculated distance information of the three-dimensional video. The display control part 14 composes the distance information from the three-dimensional video distance notification part to the three-dimensional video and displays it on the display part 13.
