In a water circulation system (circulation route) 16, an air mix-in route 59 for mixing air in a circulation pump 20 is provided, and an air suction port 58 which is a distal end of the air mix-in route 59 is provided on a position higher than the highest water level during a washing process and a rinsing process. Thus, the air can be pulled in from the air suction port 58 when the circulation pump 20 is driven without taking the measure against water leakage such as a check valve. By generating washing water containing the microbubbles holding the surfactant on the surface by a simple and highly reliable configuration and jetting it to clothes inside a rotary drum 4, it is made to act on soil stuck to the clothes and washing force is increased.
