To provide a washing machine that allows improvement in rinsing performance while reducing a washing time.
After a rinsing operation, control means 11a drives a circulation pump 30 to pour water onto laundry and causes a washing tub 4 to rotate at a rotation speed equal to or higher than that at which the laundry clings to the washing tub 4. Then, after the rotation speed becomes equal to or higher than a third resonance rotation speed, the control means 11a proceeds to the next process. While pouring circulation water onto the laundry, the washing tub 4 rotates such that the laundry clings thereto. Accordingly, the rinsing performance is improved and the absorbed circulation water acts to change the shape of the laundry, to improve the balance of the laundry clinging to the washing tub 4, thereby allowing suppression of occurrence of an unbalanced state, so that the process for improving the balance can be shortened to allow reduced a washing time.
