Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which reduces manufacturing cost, which saves energy and which secures safety.SOLUTION: In a heater unit 17, a substantially cylindrical water supply cylindrical part 38 in which water from a water supply valve 20 passes, at an upper part, and a heater cylindrical part 39 in which a heater 35 is internally provided, at a lower part, are integrally formed. In a washing step, by conducting electricity in the heater 35, the water passing inside the water supply cylindrical part 38 of the heater unit 17 is made to be hot water and it is supplied to a water tub 2. In a drying step, by conducting electricity in the heater 35, high temperature air radiated from a fin 32 provided at a lower part of the heater cylindrical part 39 of the heater unit 17 is made to be hot air, and it is circulated into the water tub 2 from a rotary drum 3. Thereby, as one heater has a hot water function for improving washing performance and a hot water function for drying, manufacturing cost is reduced, energy is saved and safety can be secured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
