PURPOSE: To provide a dry-cleaning method for clothes capable of cleaning and removing oil-soluble, insoluble and water-soluble stains and free from troubles such as the wrinkle, shrink and dye bleeding of clothes.

CONSTITUTION: Dry-cleaning of clothes is carried out by using two different kinds of dry-cleaning solutions A and B in two steps comprising the cleaning of clothes first with the dry-cleaning solution A and the cleaning of the cleaned clothes with the dry-cleaning solution B. The dry-cleaning solution A has a water-content of ≤5wt.% based on the organic solvent in the solution and the dry-cleaning solution B has a water-content adjusted to 10-30wt.% based on the organic solvent in the solution.
